Agility
is a sport in which a dog/handler team safely and expediently negotiates
an obstacle course consisting mostly of jumps, tunnels, and climbing obstacles.
Agility dogs are made, not born and training any dog in agility can be
beneficial. For the timid or young dog, agility boosts confidence; for
the very confident dog, agility teaches a balance between speed and control.
For every dog, agility enhances the teamwork with its owner.
See below for class pre-requisites, and note a special agility application is necessary when registering for agility classes.
