Badger Kennel Club Class Schedule

2012 Class Sessions:
Winter, Session 1: January 9 - March 3
Spring, Session 2: March 26 - May 19
Summer, Session 3: June 18 - August 11
Fall, Session 4: September 17 – November 10

*Start dates for Puppy classes within sessions will vary due to puppy numbers and availability. Start dates for other classes may change so be sure to check with the appropriate training class secretary.

Interim Puppy class will be held Wednesday nights 7 pm and Saturday, time to be determined, on the following dates. Nov 16, 19, Nov 30, Dec 7, 14, 17 & 21

This class is for pups ages 8-18 weeks old on the start date of the class or by special permission with prior assessment. We will not be offering another puppy class until January 2012.

  • Please check back often, as class dates are sometimes moved, depending on the demand.

    • We attempt to offer roughly the same classes each session, but check the schedule closer to your beginning class date to confirm that a class is being offered.

    Our training facility is located at 5925 Hasse Road in DeForest, WI (Directions).
    All classes last approximately one hour except agility classes which are 45 minutes.
    Further questions regarding classes can be answered by each program secretary, whose information follows the class descriptions.

    Tuesday Evening

    • 7:00 Beginning Conformation
    • 8:00 Advanced Conformation
    • 7:00 Novice Obedience 1

    Wednesday Evening

    • 7:00 Competitive Obedience
    • 7:00 Puppy 1

    Thursday Evening

    • Obedience run thrus each 4th Thursday, except in July, November and December

    Saturday Morning

    • 9:00 am Puppy 1 [Starts Jan 7]
    • 9:10 am Fundamentals for Obedience and Rally
    • 9:30 am Canine Good Citizen
    • 10:30 am Puppy 2
    • 10:40 am Freestyle
    • 10:45 am Beginning Agility [Starts Jan 28]
    • 10:45 am Experienced Handler Beginning Agility [Starts Jan 28]

    $10 discount to non-members if completed application received a week before class start.
    $10 discount to non-members with coupon if continuing in the same class or another BKC class
