The Are You Ready? Helping Teams Prepare for the Ring Seminar is geared for any/all teams enjoying the journey of trialing in the Competition Obedience ring. There will be multiple subjects covered and learning opportunities for everyone regardless of experience levels.
This seminar will include goal setting, how to work towards those goals plus helping to prepare your dog to be as successful as possible. Missi will cover Ring Readiness, with multiple working exercises, battling ring nerves, and having a positive carryover from training to trialing.
- You will learn how to set you and your dog up for success each and every time you enter the ring.
- Working Teams will be shown exercises to help make their ring experience seamless.
- Problem solving for Novice to Utility exercises will be dissected and given solutions.
- Detailing heeling footwork and cues as well as fronts and finishes are two areas that will make up the bulk of competition obedience work.
- A question and answer segment will wrap up the day!
- Snack and lunch is included.

About Missi
Missi Roland has been training dogs her entire life. At 9 years old, Missi titled her first dog and never looked back! Missi has obtained many advance titles, including 5 Obedience Trial Champions, 18 Utility Dog titles as well as multiple High In Trial/High Combined awards along the way.
Missi has presented seminars, taught classes from beginning obedience to for problem solving solutions and private lessons for many competition teams.
Throughout the country, she has coached 100’s of teams, that have earned High in Trial/High Combined awards, OTCH’s and UD’s.
Missi also successfully competes in Dock Diving, Agility, Barn Hunt, Disc, Conformation, Scent Work, Protection Sports, Herding and FASTCAT.
